Your training means you are The Only One who can restore the Water Dragon, who has been brought down by the Empire's rulers, and put the dead to rest. Li tells you he had prepared you for this day because you are the last of the Spirit Monks, warriors of the destroyed temple city of Dirge, guardians of the Water Dragon (a goddess of both life and death) and shepherds of the dead. Then the town is attacked by the Lotus Assassins, a sect of fighters who do The Emperor's dirty work. Life is peaceful, though your friend Dawn Star is troubled by visions of angry restless spirits. The story begins in the little town of Two Rivers, with you as the senior student in a martial-arts school run by the mysterious Master Li, a stern old man who is much more skilled than might be expected for a small-town teacher. And there are flying machines that shoot fireballs. It is set in a fantasy world based on Imperial China in which all (local) myths are true: ghosts, demons and ogres litter the landscape, magic is fueled by chi, and a Celestial Bureaucracy keeps the world in harmony. Thanks to the crazy redneck for pointing out I should probably also name the section they go in.Jade Empire is an Action RPG computer game developed by BioWare for the Xbox in 2005 and subsequently ported to the PC and, much later, to Macs and iOS mobile devices. The only side effect is the sun SNAPS IN about 8-10 seconds when you first load the game, but you're going to be playing a few hours anyway, right? I've only ever seen advice to make the values smaller, and to increase polling and animation speed but I find this much easier on the eye. like a real outdoor shadow should be - and you never see a jump. If you stare at it, it's barely perceptible. The effect is a constant, slow-moving shadow with no jerky jumps whatsoever. That means "Every ten seconds check where I should be," and " take around eight seconds to get there." Instead of constantly asking the game "Where now? Where now? Where now?" and jumping abruptly, it s l o w l y animates the shadows to the new position, and gets there before it needs to start moving again (I tried 10 but unless your FPS is a perfect 60 100% of the time, you'll need a buffer). This is chasing an impossible path of "instant updates" which you can never really achieve. I don't know if the constant polling hurts performance at all, but you DO still end up with abrupt jerky movements. The X-Time is how fast the shadow animates to its new position the Y-Threshold is how often the game polls for, where should I be next? Everything I see suggests taking this down to smaller and smaller values to be constantly updating, to minimize the tiny little bounces and fast animations to the new position, to avoid the annoying sudden JUMP the shadows make. All the solutions and explanations I see come from this, in your Fallout4Custom.ini, under: The jerky "hope no one's looking" sun transitions from Fallout and Skyrim have bugged me, and about a gazillion other people. Load a game, point your nose at an outdoor shadow, and fool with these two values until you see what I mean. This will be easier for you to see yourself than for me to post the crappy video I tried to make of a shadow not doing much.
